Some DUers will be along shortly to kill your dog and then claim the DOG is the violent one - not the person who trained (or didn't train) it.

I, however, would love to pet Patrick. I have rescued five dogs myself - although not any pits. My neighbor and colleague does rescue pits and they're big ole babies.

Finally, this story infuriates me! People who do such things to animals should either have a special place in hell or should be sentenced to far longer jail time for their actions. Animals may be property, but unlike a car or a ring or money, they DO have feelings.
