And I went to a huge high school with 3,500 students. There was not enough time to go to the bathroom between classes and hit your locker to change books and walk to class.
It was completely insane. It was one of the stupid things that made me crazy in high school.
Many a day I did not go to the bathroom at all, all day. school started at 8 am and was over at 3:40 pm. Sometimes I had a three-hour lab once a week that started at 7 am.
The work world isn't any better.
I had to beg a judge more than once for a lunch break so I could eat lunch when we were in a hearing or trial. I was a court reporter. One judge backed down when I said "My doctor's name is Dr. such n such. Do you want his phone number so you can call him & talk to him about my needing to eat lunch?"
That is so demeaning to have to beg for bathroom breaks and lunch breaks from slave drivers.
