In reply to the discussion: Markie Sanford had his mistress/fianceé/hussy with him at his victory party: [View all]CTyankee
(68,214 posts)177. But Sanford brought the whole thing up by brandishing her as a trophy at the
press conference, so people do comment on that.
I don't know if his kids are accepting it. And neither do you. This guy publicly humiliated their mother. One day they will learn that, if they don't know it already. And at the time they saw their mother and themselves get moved out of their house. All because of his actions. He could have avoided doing this as brutally as he did to them. He could have been honest with himself and with his wife and just gone to her and said "I need a divorce. I have fallen in love with another woman." They could have worked out something that saved face for her and assigned the responsibility to where it belonged.
MAN UP is my message here...

I don't think anybody is shaming her, just laughing at her and him and the whole situation....

Using that term is not anywhere close to being the same calling a woman a slut.

Yes, I think she is a "shameless hussy," something I have secretely aspired to in a way.

I'm good with the "slut shaming." Screw around with a married person behind their spouse's back -

Bad as it is, being told by your husband he just doesn't want to continue the marriage
