Showing Original Post only (View all)In honor of Roger Ebert: The 10 Worst Movies He's Ever Reviewed [View all]
Roger Ebert, the beloved film critic who died Thursday at age 70, had a pretty good gig. He got paid to watch and write about some of the best movies ever made, after all. But let's not forget that for every masterpiece he reviewed, there were probably three or four movies like "Ernest Goes to Camp." The gallery above shows 10 movies he hated, along with a few damning but oh-so-eloquent quotes from by the famed critic. We suggest you honor the guy who called himself "beneath everything else, a fan" by grabbing some popcorn or Junior Mints and watching any movie that isn't one of these.
3. The Beverly Hillbillies (1993)
"Here is a film with all of the wit of the road kill that supplies not one but two of the lesser jokes."
5. Crocodile Dundee In Los Angeles (2001)
"I've seen audits that were more thrilling."
6. Little Indian, Big City (1996)
"If you, under any circumstances, ever see "Little Indian, Big City", I'll never let you read another one of my reviews again."
8. The Brown Bunny (2003)
"I had a colonoscopy. They let me watch it on TV. It was more entertaining than The Brown Bunny." <----

Liked it a lot too but didn't like the ending and was told it was different than the book.
