If they even propose cutting social security and Medicare we lose the Senate, simple as that. I got disappointed right off the bat when we elected OUR senators and then no filibuster reform. And soon as Mr Grande Bargain Legacy started talking cutting benefits, as well a Pelosi, Hoyer and others, I haven't sent a dime. I am saving it up to cover the cuts and political donations are the easiest thing to save.

I really don't know what he is thinking and he has lost my confidence. Even if taxes are raised, half the millionaires vote democrat. Koch is not going to suddenly back democrats. But if he even proposed the cuts, repugs will run saying I will protect you and there will be democratic voters that switch. It is not brave it is stupid to propose cutting something that polls show 80% of the people are opposed to.
