21. They've done great work exposing the horror of factory farming meat animals

and have even gotten improved conditions for a few of them, most notably laying hens.

Unfortunately, they've never chosen their other targets as well, assaulting silly rich women in fur coats with dye and trying to equate the AKC with the KKK here. They've also dabbled in trying to prevent medical trials on animals, doubly nuts since a lot of those trials turn up important veterinary medications that benefit animals, also.

Reining in the extremists with no sense should have been done years ago. We might not have those abominable factory pig farms now had they concentrated their resources there.
