3. If you're an avid reader, they certainly save space

They're very convenient for me, because I live in a foreign country, books on politics in English are a bit difficult to come by and quite expensive, shipping costs come into play, and therefore being able to just download the book is better for me. That's a special case, but I'm certainly glad they're around.
