But I was young when I married him and besides, who knows what's going tohappen in the future. I put up with it for as long as I could for the sake of the kids but finally just decided to get a lawyer, figure out a strategy to get him to pay his fair share of the child support and back it up in the divorce agreement and go on with my life. I had a career at that point and was sadder but wiser. He married later (as did I) and has made her life miserable and she wound up supporting him. Some people never change.

That's life, I guess
