8. The cap needs to be lifted not just on payrolls but also on the type of income.

When the rich and super-rich make most of their money through capital gains, their capital gains should also be subject to Social Security taxes (aka self-employment taxes for the self-employed).

There is no good reason for exempting income for the super-rich based upon a category. This is especially true when the special treatment is applied to income which they did not earn.
