Would anybody be friends with someone who thinks that there is something wrong with you? Would anyone actually be friends with someone so offensive and disgusting? Honestly, I would love to know some of the names of these idiotic people's "gay friends". AND then I would ask any of these "gay friends" why in the world would they be "friends" with this tool?
They don't even make any sense anymore. I have gay friends. My gay friends in a committed, loving relationship can't be allowed to marry because I'm a Christian and God say's that marriage is between 1 man and 1 woman. But what about the men in the bible who have multiple wives? Is that ok? Should we allow for multiple people to marry? (like Mormons... Mitt's family running to Mexico to have multiple married wives...LOL). And how is it that this "Christian" thought of 1 man/ 1 woman apply in the constitution? We have a separation between religion and state... So, why should one's religion define the legalities of two people who are in love, deciding to marry one another and enjoy the legal protections that "married" persons do under the law? The marriage recognized under the law is only one of legal recognition, it does not have anything to do with the manner in which one is joined, or are you saying that a marriage between two Jewish persons, 2 hindu's, or 2 atheists, should not be married because they are not "Christian"?
Its such a stupid argument. If you can sit in an interview and say you have gay friends and that their relationships between one another are legitimate, then how in the world can you deny that they can be allowed to have equal rights and "marry" one another in a legalized process that is recognized by the NON-RELIGIOUS government? Its much harder to process this crazy spin, than it is to just give up on the whole gay is bad issue altogether.
It is politically incorrect for these tools to say gay's are bad now. Most of them claim to have "gay friends". Most recognize that there are gay people and that teh gay is not catching. So, they recognize that gay people exist, that there is nothing "wrong" with them, that they do have friends they know who are in loving, committed relationships, yet, they cannot marry because they are Christian and somehow God has told them that marriage is between only 1 man and 1 woman, although their is evidence in their book, called a bible, of many men who had multiple wives. Our laws do not allow for men to marry multiple women now, they must be divorced like Newt Gingrich to move onto a new marriage. The law doesn't allow for religion to dictate laws in the United States (otherwise we would be more like Middle Eastern countries who do operate under a religious/ law type of government... like Sharia Law that these asshats all worry about becoming the "laws" in the US). So, exactly, why shouldn't the government acknowledge a marriage contract between 2 consenting adults to join their assets and liabilities together? It doesn't make a lick of sense. Unless you are like Michelle Bachman (in denial of her hubby) or Rick Santorum (crazy beans) and continue to run around saying that gays are wrong and evil and need to be fixed.
