The name “88 Tactical” comes from “Signal 88″, a law enforcement code used in the State of Nebraska meaning, “situation secure”.

don't know much about um
see guys with 88 tactical shirts and hats fairly often at work , gun shows , etc
talked to a few that have taken courses reviews were mixed

they are an offshoot of signal 88 security which has been around for years , and has no neo nazi links I am aware of

as for the name right off their website
In Nebraska police code, Signal 88 means "situation secure.”
