- Raskin made a motion to ask for a single witness and her notes (and reserved the right to call more)

- The Senate passed that motion

- The Senate briefly recessed so Senators could figure out what they wanted to do

- Later, the House Managers made a deal so that only a statement from that witness would be entered into the record, instead of doing a deposition of her (and getting her notes) (and doing more votes for more witnesses that the Republicans might want).

- Later, during their closing, the Trump lawyer said they rejected her statement, saying it wasn't true.
