I give a fuck about making sure the President is an unhappy thwarted centrist until the day he moves left and abandons whatever "I'm the President for conservatives too" bullshit that has taken root between his ears. Any centrist or right-of-center proposal should be and seems to be DOA because he loses the left of his party and can't gain a single vote from the other side of the aisle.

Earth to Obama: The Democratic left are the ones you need to placate. David Brooks and Joe Scarsborough don't have votes in Congress and can't make Boehner's or McConnell's cronies support your crap ideas on the deficit, Social Security or the next "give away the farm" idiocy that falls out of your mouth. If Hillary's actually planning on running, she best learn that lesson too and start her transformation to a liberal hero.
