60. If someone promises they will never cut Social Security...

...when they are campaigning, and then they turn around and propose using the Chained CPI (which amounts to a cut, no matter how much the spinners want us to think otherwise)... well then those of us who are paying attention are likely to call out that campaign promise as a lie.

Sorry you find that annoying. But you are totally mischaracterizing it when you you call it "outright hate for the President".

When someone disagrees on a policy issue, when they see their own Democratic President proposing something that the Republicans want rather than proposing progressive Democratic ideas, that is NOT the same thing as expressing hate.

Please consider the difference. Because you are basically calling out many long time DUers who disagree with President Obama on this issue and accusing them of being Obama haters. And that is just wrong.
