23. I love that I got to help elect the first African-American president too

And I'm glad that he is within the bounds of liberal on cultural issues.

The problem, over and over, is that the Democratic Party isn't on the side of working people, and not just since Obama has been in office.

Cultural issues are not enough when so many are struggling. This is an economic situation 40 years in the making and I was hoping that President Obama could and would break the mold that Clinton used when he was in office.

We live in a nation in which the mentally ill are left out in the streets to fend for themselves.

What kind of first world nation acts like that toward the sick? What kind of first world nation goes after the elderly?

The United States is the only first world nation that acts like it's a banana republic.
