(3,992 posts)24. lived at the foot of Pike's Peak
for 4 years in the 70s. went thru a lot of good changes there. went back in 2010, and when i laid eyes on Pike's Peak for the first time in 33 years, i was surprised when i couldn't stop crying. it's home in so many ways.
