The majority of Latinos in Texas have been there far longer than the tea(carpet)baggers, inserting themselves into every issue that is none of their business. Those friends I have there of Mexican origin were not fooled by Cruz or won't be fooled by Jorge.

They keep informed and are not at all impoverished or easy to push around. For years they were apolitical, but now see hope with the Castro brothers and the Dream Act.

Although those I know don't support illegal immigration, they support families and being humane and just, and believe in equality. That is something the teabaggers, some of which aren't native Texans, have yet to grasp about them.
