33. They are just annoying grifters, nothing more.

They don't give a shit about their own message or wher they picket. Their goal is to exercise their constitutional rights to be assholes and to make money suing people and cities that get in their way. As soon as they see that they aren't going to get a rise out of people, they split.

The only way to get them to stop is to make it unprofitable for them to continue. And to do that, you have to simply refuse to engage with them. The human shields serve this purpose -- let the family grieve, stop the antagonism.

It is only a matter of time before they run out of money. In the meantime, they make a nice focal point for people to get together for the purpose of being nice.

Imagine when future human shields one day will be able to turn around and face the event they no longer need to protect.
