In reply to the discussion: You ever notice when you're driving that everyone going faster than you is criminally irresponsible? [View all]Warpy
(114,624 posts)3. No, I only get annoyed with poky drivers going
more than 10 MPH below the posted speed limit and that's because I know they cause most of the accidents.
Likewise, I know good people have the right to be wrong about things. If I'm not wrong about 3 things by the time I eat lunch, it means I've slept in. I do have friends in both parties, online and off, and across the political spectrum.
What I won't tolerate is the mentally and emotionally poky who are unwilling to do anything but have their AM radios drone on, filling their empty heads with nonsense and never check anything out.
That makes me less a political dogmatist and more an insufferable snob.

I've noticed that people going faster than me give me a "license to speed"

West coast definitely has no clue about that. East coast tends to understand passing lane.

I try to stay 15 to 20 mph below the posted speed limit, because I think they are too high....

I love it when people speed by me.... I figure they're the ones that will get pulled over.

Yeah, because I have made so many posts with a right wing point of view.

That's why you should not take it personally when someone lays on their horn for you.

In driving I think it is not so much how fast you are as how much you tailgate people's asses.

Indeed. Being one of those AGW believers. When I have to drive my small car I do it at or slightly
