6. This is not ok.

The person that came to the door was immediately out the door, hands above head.
There was no discussion or time explaining their intentions.

They did it. They used the tragedy to determine just how far they could go before
people objected to the invasion of privacy. The news media is broadcasting one
Hero worship story after another. If anyone objected we will never hear about it
from them.

It's revolting to see this happen in this country. Next time this will be used for
a far less appropriate reason and there's nothing you can say about it. Little
Girls are handing cookies out to cops in Boston today. What a pretty picture.
Now just move along.
