(45,966 posts)Who is serving a 21 month sentence. And Don Hughart is scheduled to be sentenced in June. And Blankenship may yet face charges. So thanks for proving MY point, which is that the two situations aren't remotely comparable. Oh, and when he entered his guilty plea at the end of February, Hughart specifically implicated Blankenship as a co-conspirator and the feds are being very coy about what their next move is going to be, but it is widely assumed that going after Blankenship is very much on the table. But you seem to have a nifty crystal ball that says Blankenship will never face the consequences of his acts. Could you also tell me who is going to win the World Series?
The bastards that failed to maintain a safe workplace in West Texas are far from off the hook and I hope and expect that they will fac serious jail time for their actions and inactions; at the same time, unlike the Boston bombers, they don't pose an immediate threat to the public nor is there any indication that they are a flight risk. Try as you might, the facts just get in the way of your rant.
