42. I'm in the same boat too...

Great news Freemay 20. I don't know if its a trend or what BUT during the first six months of this mess I got NO interviews. Last year I got TWO ten months apart. This year I have had FOUR in three months and at least a preliminary shot at one other job. I blew a spreadsheet test on the prelim shot but at least I had a shot. One of the jobs was the first time I tried a cold call to a company that does the same type of work as the place I used to work. The owner had me in for an interview even though he didn't have a job available right now. He knows I can do the work so maybe if something opens up I'll get a call out of the blue. I just keep on moving and figure sooner or later I'll be the right person at the right company at the right time.
