Although I am not a big fan of the President because he has not, IMO, made any serious attempts to address the root cause of most of the problems that face our country, the control of our government by wealthy private interests, he has done some things that have been beneficial for the 99%.

No republican president will ever purposely do anything that is genuinely beneficial to the 99% Not one single thing, ever. Republicans serve the interests of the 1%, and the 1% alone.

Therefore, I believe it is in the best interests of the 99% that the President be given another term of office, being as we have no other possible better option at this time.

So, thanks so much for the information, I am compelled to support the President in political discussions with fence-sitting Independents, disgruntled Democrats (such as myself), and the rare republican that can acknowledge facts. Your post is ammuniton that I don't have to do work to find.

Republicans universally support the agenda of the 1%, and are the enemies of the 99% as long as they support the 1% agenda.

I thoroughly detest republican ideology, have total disdain for most "conservatives", and wish to completely eliminate all RW control of/from my life and our country forever.

President Gingrich. pResident Bush. Same shit, only it will stink even worse than Bush. Can't happen, we can't ever let it happen.

So the fact is, in general, helping elect Democrats is the best I can do in the political arena to help further this goal at this time.
