That could either explain or explain away Dzhokhar's tweets of March 20 and thereabouts. Maybe they really were setting off fireworks. But why? Interesting, in any case.

I heard numerous experts today say that the fireworks listed couldn't have served as the explosives for the kinds of bombs they made. So maybe it's moot.
