. . . all the grousing about whether he's a 'hero' or not will reduce this man to a level where I think these folks prefer him; beneath them.

Why even quibble with it? He didn't invent the notion. He rejects it.

I know that I'm personally grateful that he discovered the 'body' and made the call - allowing the suspect to be arrested before he caused anyone else any more harm. I know some folks would deny him even that consideration.

What a planet! We humans really know how to stink up the joint.
