(12,233 posts)Your soul is beautiful like a Rose blossom. The thorns only help to make the rosé strong and blossom brightly for the whole world to see and appreciate.
No, my dear, you ar not dying! You are living. And you know, even with an old rose bush that seems to have died and has no life left; a gradener with a green thumb can come along and nurture the roots with love, tenderness, good soil, water, and sunlight.
Enjoy loving to your fullness and receiving the love and tenderness you deserve. Feed your body the good nutrients you need to feel strong. Enjoy the fresh sunlight like a bath and let its warming effects wash over your body and into your heart.
Do not let a pronouncement that you have 2 yrs to live cloud your mind with negativity and inevitability. Surround yourself with the positive forces of love and light.
And really, we should all live as we wish we could. It should not take a pronouncement of mortality to wake us up to the idea of living in the moment, taking pleasures in the small and big things this Universe has to offer us, and becoming better humans to one another and to Mother Earth that we call home.
I do not know what type of cancer that you have? You did not specify. But the "rare" types have not been studied long enough or have enough funding behind them to really explore the best procedures to follow. I would say choosing a homeopathic manner is probably much more appealing than succumbing to rounds of chemo or radiation that kill off all of your good and bad cells. Consider including cannabis as a helping treatment option. This plant has shown medicinal value in stopping the cancer from spreading and in some cases, has shown to reverse tumor sizes. At the very least, it will help with any pain you may be experiencing.
Lastly, the very best tool in our arsenal kit against diseases is our minds and hearts. Our mind-body connection with itself is an amazingly profound, and taken for granted, especially, in western medical treatments. Meditate. Allow your mind to focus on your body and the way in which your body is functioning... Breathing air into the lungs to oxygenate your blood cells, your blood pumping through your veins coming from the heart, and the heart taking the blood back to be renewed again. And of course, exhaling the carbon dioxide back out as closure to the process.
Our bodies are an expression and essence of the circle of life. And as in nature, sometimes it is something seemingly devastating that ends up creating beauty. Like a forest fire that sends animals running and black smoke and smoldering ash seeming to devastate the ecosystem... But in the long term, the short destruction allows for nutrients to be released into the soil, more bio-diversity among plant and animal life follows and creates a healthier system that takes up more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. In some cases, like the Pinderosa Pine, they need the fires to germinate their seeds. The fire restores the balance.
This "fire" within you will hopefully restore your balance; will spark the seed to germinate. Will give you the chance to find the nutrients that you need to grow. I do not know if your soul's journey is to "out survive this fire" and flourish longer in this body and in this time-space, or if this is preparing your soul for passing into another energy form? Time will only tell.
However, you do have the foreknowledge that some do not get before their passing (as in an accidental death or some other mayhem like being blown up at a happy event). It can be both a blessing and a curse. BUT I believe SmilingRose, you are precious. And your name choice to present to us here would assure me that you will blossom and smell sweetly and continue to make everyone smile. Peace be with you. And embrace living and loving because you are.
