3. Why is it important?

Conspiracy theories are one reason. They tend to grow out of a lack of information. The Sheriff at the Newton tragedy was put off by the conspiracy theories about what guns were used. He was so angry about it he had the office put out an official press release saying what guns were used.

I also noticed two cars with their lights on near the brothers, during the shootout. I saw the photos and was wondering who the other car belonged to. We know they carjacked the SUV and that's the only vehicle I heard being talked about. So why was that other car there with it's lights on parked in front of the brothers.

It's still early in the investigation. I imagine details will emerge bit by bit. And some things we won't know until the trial.
