if a movie doesn't set out to "deal with" bad driving etc. More creative than that. There are ways to get to them, especially with smoking, but movie makers are afraid to go there. Has to have major talent, actors that kids already admire. If you plant the seeds of negativity, even if the change in behavior isn't immediate, it can sink in once there's more maturity. Smoking is such a health hazard that to let it be promoted to kids without serious controls and deterrents is morally wrong. Unlike drinking (or texting), there is no such thing as moderation with smoking. Tobacco is like heroin. And should be treated like that. Whatever we can do to discourage kids from getting into it should be done.

I hope one day that smoking (cigarettes not weed) will be considered the height of backward stupid.
