You, in my opinion, are just parsing words to defend Obama.
I am a person that voted for Obama. I preferred him to Hillary because he opposed the Iraq invasion. I was thrilled that he was elected the first time and also when he defeated Romney.
But, I haven't had to "search for reasons" to disapprove of his policies. I had search for things to be happy about.
You apparently think he is great. Think what you wish.
I am terribly disappointed with his performance and will be happy when we elect a President that seems to be for the mainstream Americans.
