I know what you mean though. Sometimes I've spoken for three minutes to blank faces. Then some suit says, so what you are saying is .... No, I reply, let me try explain it. Answer - that won't be necessary.

It's not just jargon. I have a real difficulty in expressing myself. But I know my stuff, and ultimately that's what counts.

The worst IT people are those who don't even know what they don't know. If something is beyond my understanding, I say so.
