In reply to the discussion: The Most Reliable Windows PC Is A Mac. [View all]Bjorn Against
(12,041 posts)77. The laptop I spent $550 on last year can outperform even a top of the line Mac on gaming
I play PC games and I like to crank the graphics up on them, Macs suck at running games as do most Intel based laptops aside from the extremely expensive gaming laptops. My AMD based laptop however can run Bioshock Infinite at near max settings, there is not a single game on the market that I can not run on my machine with graphics cranked up to at least high settings if not max while many laptops that cost three times as much struggle with games.
For me the only laptops that do what I want them to do at an affordable price are the AMD based laptops with the Radeon graphics chips, I simply don't know how Intel and Apple can justify charging so much for machines that can't even run most modern games.

Well, supposedly not all things work on a Mac. But I use the free Open Office program for those.
