(24,544 posts)color, you bet your ass that is racism. Racism does imply a sense of superiority, and to apply that MILLIONS (in some cases BILLIONS) of people of varying looks as well as intellectual and emotional capabilities "don't do it for you" simply because of their skin color/ethnicity is the HEIGHT (or depths?) of racist thinking.
And just because you've decided that this is based on something as arbitrary as "sexual attraction" makes it no less racist. Your likening "I don't like dark skin" to "I don't like tattoos" is just about the dumbest thing I've seen today. Lots of people base their decision to not date people of other colors and ethnicities because they "don't do it for them" which everyone knows means they find them unattractive in some manner of way either physically, culturally, intellectually whatever -- which is all code for one word, inferior. It doesn't fool anyone.
Ruling out individual people because you find them stupid, unlikeable, uninteresting etc. is human nature. Ruling out large swaths of the world's population as unattractive, unappealing or, to use your thinking, "undoable" solely because of the color of their skin, their religion, or their ethnicity is racist. Juvenile and stupid too.
