Right Wing Attacks on Clint Eastwood Reach New Absurdity

2. In fairness, I don't think they're attacking Clint Eastwood personally.

Sure, their words are aimed in his direction, but the real target are the union jobs that stand behind him. It's a Republican mantra that those living wage jobs are strangling the auto industry to death, and anyone who says otherwise are to be slapped down by the GOP at large.

Eastwood says the spirit of his commercial, that the auto industry is back stronger than ever, can be used by either party, but the Republicans are unable to do so. If the industry lost the UAW during bankruptcy, every Republican in the country would be touting their reborn success.
