It seems generally less frustrating than being a hetero- but I won't bore you with a misogynistic rant...

Incidentally, there's no gene that makes you like science fiction or heavy metal music either. And yet I liked them growing up, in spite of all the crap the humans gave me for it. The point is it's all taste.
