42. Did they cheer all the previous months when manufacturing numbers were positive?

I doubt it. For the most part, the gains in manufacturing during Obama's first term were invisible, as they didn't fit in with the negative drumbeat on both the left and the right that seems to drive media narratives.

In any case, in spite of the "lost month" of manufacturing jobs non-creation, Obama has a pretty solid record there overall.
