Someone wrote an account of things that happened to her during her life. People write memoirs all the time. I rarely read them, unless the person is extremely notable or interesting. This is not one of the books I will read.

Are her claims true? I have no idea, really. Others have written about this "affair," so I suppose there's some truth to it, but it's of no consequence to me. The players in the drama are old or dead, and none of it has anything to do with anything current.

So, this woman can write as she sees fit. Others can read it or not read it and believe it or not believe it, as they see fit. Since it will be impossible to sort out what is accurate and what is not in this, I'll simply ignore it, beyond the comments in this thread.
