Why has no one shut down the Ted Cruz for president nonsense?

45. When my brother was born (to two citizens) outside the Canal Zone

the doctor joked that he hoped the kid did not grow up to have presidential aspirations.. He's always had Panamanian citizenship as an option..and had no interest in the US presidency..

I guess it's a bit like the 2nd amendment and the Bible.. until SCOTUS rules definitively, there may be controversy.

I do not think that Cruz is an acceptable candidate , but the way the media howled about the bogus "issue" of Obama's citizenship (which was iron-clad), it annoys the hell out of me the was they seem to completely accept the issue of Cruz' eligibility as if it's no issue at all..

Being a citizen by birth place of parent is not the issue with him.. If that were so "widely accepted", no matter where Obama was born HE would have also qualified, but the media then seemed to think his citizenship deserved questioning...It's the double standard that irritates the hell out of me..and the casual way media is treating the issue with a republican, when they pull every little thread when a democrat is concerned.
