3. I suspect the evangelicals will pull Sanford across the line first?

Because the religious folks in places like SC and Louisiana like to forgive their politicians for their trespasses. They are different from NY and most liberal states. It makes them feel more Christian-like that they are able to forgive others. Many will not hold anything against Sanford and he will win the race. I sincerely hope I am wrong. It would help to restore my faith in our political system.
