I wouldn't mind growing some myself, actually. Only thing stopping me is timing. I would need a good "beard vacation" from work. Tried doing it over the Christmas holidays but you know, have to be clean shaven for all the Christmas pictures and all.

I just thought it was funny how the author remarked on the sometimes odd facial hair of the participants.

Actually, crazy facial hair is probably the one objectively "cool" thing about the otherwise travesty that is the NRA convention.
