Can we just bookmark this for the next land mines / flamethrowers / nuclear bombs thread? [View all]

Q: Why can't I have a nuclear bomb / flamethrower / claymore mine, gun nuts?

A: Because the law that defines what weapons are legal for civilian ownership excludes them.

It's not tricky. It's not difficult. That's why.

(EDIT: actually, I'm pretty sure flamethrowers are entirely legal in most states.)
