When I ran out of M80s once, I emptied the silver solute of hundreds of firecrackers and stuffed it into the used center cardboard rolls from a cash register and fused it. It made a hole in the ground some 6 inches deep and more than a foot around. It was so loud the cows didn't milk for a couple of days. I got in trouble with my uncle for that one. Yeah, I was an idiot.
