29. Nothing will bring those who died back
Fri May 10, 2013, 11:56 PM
May 2013

We can choose whether to focus on the past or we can choose to focus on the future and save those who are still alive. Would it be better to waste political capital going after these men and divide the nation? Or to get the Affordable Care Act passed.

It took Obama almost all the capital he had to get the ACA passed. That will save lives.

Choosing to go after Bush would have looked partisan, possibly cost him his re-election, and probably would have not ended with them being brought to Justice as the Conservative SCotUS would have saved him as they did when the selected him.

In an ideal world we could go after them and have gotten the ACA passed. But this is not an ideal world. It is a cold dark world in which injustice reigns. This means we are faced with hard choices. Given this, I think focusing on the living should be our priority.

I hate Double Dumb's administration with a passion, but hate only leads to more hate, pain and suffering. I would rather let go of my hate and save those I can. I believe Obama made the right choice. You are free to disagree.
