That is how they win both sides of the alleged political divide. They tell their followers on the right what a crook Obama is, what a weasel Pelosi and all the Democrats are, and in order to be mainstream, the Left agrees.

The 'both parties are the same' meme is a big one the right pushes, because it demoralizes Democrats, who honestly when all is said and done, the party of enlightened government. Not so with baggers and libertarians, they hate liberal government in its entirety as getting in their way. They know enlightened government that works, is a winner, so they nitpick everything, no matter how shallow or surreal.

But the GOP re-brands itself into a new version every two years or less. They have the money and media in their hands to brainwash us, as it's owned by a few conservative billionaires and used to promote their agenda every day.

That agenda is for the same result using the Right and the Left, but now there is a decreasing difference in the spin. They say government does not work and on the Right that spurs privatization and on the Left it spurs dropping out or going to the Libertarian with the same results.

Those of us in the uncomfortable middle are amused by the Right and given a knife in the back by the Left, and demoralized as we can't get out word out. DU is ratfucking central most days, since the media is our fodder as it is for all political forums and fails to educate, much less tell the truth about Obama or the Democratic Party platform.
