I Need Some Info On This IRS Audit Controversy - How Did It Come To Be Exposed?...... [View all]
Did some Tea Partier or one of the organizations that was audited come out and talk about this - or did the IRS themselves discover that this was being done and they stopped it and apologized for it. I haven't been following this very closely and really don't know how this came to be an issue. If someone could help me on this - it would be appreciated.
A side comment on it now - what I'm concerned about now is that these groups/organizations that were targeted and audited by the IRS- because they and the Repugs have made such a big issue about this - will think that they can get away with doing sneaky stuff now - because they might think that there's no chance that the IRS will audit them again. Will they think now that they have a green light to cheat?
