being here. Have not been here for some time as we fight among ourselves a little too much sometimes like the Democratic Party does so have a tendency to stay off of boards & go to sites where can read more Regardless, I appreciate having DU here to come when things are the way they are right now. I can keep up with things right here w/o having to listen to the cable spin & right now, MSNBC is not any better.
Ninga is right & in Ninga's post shows how the republicans from the very day of the Inauguration many of them gathered together to form their plan on getting rid of this President & they failed he got two terms but they never quit & on top of this they have Fox to do so much for them.
Where are the Democrats, they knew all of this, they have known this is the way it always has been & especially with how bad they wanted to get rid of President Obama, they should have got their committee together & determined how they were going to fight back, they have the muscle, they always just seem reluctant to use it. To me Reid is weak, President Obama for whatever reason always seemed like he could convince them to work with him, hopefully, he has got it now that they never did, never will & are not going to do anything but go after him & destroy anything he has done or is going to try to do.
That said, look at Benghazi, faux started on this with McCain & Graham. Did they ever stop? They kept on & kept on until they have what they have now.
The IRS - if anything should come out of this it should be about those political organizations both republican & democratic should be looked at & disbanded entirely or make a determination yes, OK but no tax exempt status & all donors have to be disclosed, no secrecy of whether it could be donors from out of country or in country.
The AP popping up now, don't know enough about it. It doesn't sound good getting the phone #s of the journalists, don't know what really took place.
Maybe you find this a rambling but go ahead & fire back at me, plan on being here now for a while, don't care to listen to cable. I have The Nation, Mother Jones & Salon where I like to read. Will definitely hit the gym more often to help alleviate getting to down about all this. I will remain positive & you all will probably help by hearing some good things. Thanks.
