Yeah this is embarrassing but it pales in comparison lots of other things the GOP should be embarrassed about. The Iraq war and the 2008 economic collapse just to name a couple. If the GOP was capable of perceiving guilt or embarrassment or irony they would have crawled away and hid themselves long ago. That sort of stuff bounces off them like bullets off Superman.
