(27,985 posts)then because I had a strong suspicion that I knew who posted this, I checked at the top. I am so not surprised that you would post something so heartwarming.
I recently broke my arm and luckily have short term disability but it's taking forever. I actually contemplated talking to you about asking the community for help but my landlord/longterm friend stepped in. He's just amazing. It's going to take me the rest of the year to pay him back and the other various bills that a fully insured person ends up paying for medical care (I'm going to guess it will be about $10,000) but I feel nothing but gratitude, both for the currently free roof over my head and the extra monetary help he's provided.
He's good people. You are good people. I really believe we good people outnumber the not good people.
