being criticized on this political forum for stating my views.

Obama wants to move forward. The neo-conservative policies and the policies that move in that direction want to move backwards or stand still.

I was never a Naderite or a third party advocate, but I believe in challenging the ideas of today and seeking the ideas that will build a better tomorrow.

Some of us have to lead the movement forward. I am willing to do that.

I think that forward-thinking, maybe even thinking ahead of your time are signs of confidence, of independence and self-awareness.

You are entitled to your opinion. A person is entitled to limit his thoughts to the possible and the convenient. But I consider myself, as a person with a lot of experience and education and a lot of friends, to have a responsibility to present ideas that have promise.

I do not believe that there is anything admirable about stagnating in the dogmas and fears of the past.
