I imagine that to maintain an academic consistency, you then become just as stridently irrelevant with the staffs at the E.R. as they refer to "gun shot wound" (GSW) rather than "gun shot wound inflicted by a person who did that" (GSWIBAPWDT?)...

Else we may be led to believe you simply hold some to a higher standard than others based on little more than convenience...
