I realize that the headline was deliberately misleading, but I wonder how many people just glimpsed (or will glimpse) the headline and immediately conclude that Oklahoma Republicans actually said NO to disaster relief from this particular disaster.

You make a good point, but I don't like the potential for confusion with this one.

If I might make a minor suggestion... alter the headline to reflect more accurately what it is that you're talking about. Or don't. It's up to you, but at the moment, I think we need to go for accuracy.

I'm with you on sending disaster relief immediately.

Some of the responses to this one really made me grimace... we're democrats, progressives, independents, whatever. We're the people that are supposed to give a shit. So let's stop being petty and throwing feces at each other and focus our energy where it belongs in this case... supporting the victims of this disaster.
